Health Tips

Since so many have been complaining about colds, cough, and respiratory issues, I thought I would mention about a pretty, very fragrant, delicate little herb, which sits in most kitchen spice racks, that can be helpful. Thyme!
With a multitude of health benefits, most of us think of this beauty only in a culinary fashion, yet it has been used for centuries medicinally. Some of the marvelous health benefits of Thyme include:

Try this quick and easy recipe to help with sore throats and other respiratory issues.
Thyme Tea
Take two or more 4 inch sprigs of fresh Thyme, or 1 tsp dried thyme, place in hot, but not boiling, water and steep for 6-10 minutes.  Strain solids if desired.  Add honey to taste.  Enjoy!
